As technology becomes more and more a part of our daily lives, ICT is an extremely important subject for young learners. With our combination of curriculum and equipment, learners at Ovingham Middle are provided with an excellent and safe environment in which to learn ICT.

In ICT lessons pupils learn to use a wide variety of software packages. The most important are listed below.

Most of the software below is accessed by pupils using the School360 learning platform. This platform has a huge range of features such as educational resources access to the Britannica Encyclopedia and the google apps suite.

Google Apps  The google apps suite consists of a large number of browser based apps. The most used apps are:

Google Classroom Google classroom is an integrated platform to set and mark tasks. It is built to work with the pupil’s google drive and the google apps suite.  YES  Runs in a browser so no installation required.
