Mission Christmas

Each year, thousands of children across the North East will wake up on Christmas Day with no present to open. Ever increasing rent and bills put pressure on some families which means they cannot afford the little luxuries that most of us take for granted. The children’s charity, Cash for Kids, aim to lessen this burden and ensure these children receive a gift from Santa.

The charity therefore ask for donations of presents, suitable for a child aged 0-18 years, which can be distributed across the North East where needed.

As a school, we decided to get involved and try to gather as many presents as we could to donate to this worthwhile cause.

We are absolutely overwhelmed by the response, both the quantity and quality of the presents donated has been astounding and we would like to say a big thank you to each and every one of you. There will now be many more smiling little faces on Christmas Day and that’s down to you. Metro Radio will be coming into school on Tuesday morning to collect the gifts.

Thank you again and Merry Christmas!
