Wednesday in Montgenèvre

This morning the beginner group did a quick warm up on the nursery slope then tackled their first red run from the top of Les Gondrans. They were triumphant against the mountain managing their first red run superbly. They have also been working further on their technique and took on the plastic bridge and boxes both this morning and afternoon.   They have also been practising side slides, backwards skiing and skiing on one leg… offs! This morning the more experienced skiers went to Le Chalvet and Col de l’Alpet, tackling the boardercross and a range of runs including a bumpy black and slushy reds/blues. This afternoon they went to Eagle Rock and went down the snow park and boarder cross once more, which every one thoroughly enjoyed. Jonathan was crowned the boardercross champion and is now in training for the next Olympics. This evening for tea we had soup, followed by chicken curry and a crepe for pud. For evening entertainment we have enjoyed a few games of bingo…serious stuff. Currently we are sitting in the bar enjoying a soft drink and a game of table football. We can’t wait for tomorrow ⛷⛷⛷
